The U.S. Soccer Development Academy is program that was instituted by the U.S. Soccer federation in 2007 to provide education, resources and support to impact everyday club environments that will develop world-class players. The Development Academy program's philosophy is based on increased training, less total games, and more meaningful games using international rules of competition. The DA program also serves as a key source for identifying players for participation in the US youth national teams.
Kendall SC is the only youth soccer club in Miami that has been granted membership in the Development Academy and only one of six clubs in all of Florida that have full membership across every participating age group. All the youth academies of MLS clubs in the U.S. and Canada participate in the Development Academy. For more information about the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, please access the DA section of the U.S. Soccer website.
If you have questions about the ID Camp, please contact Technical Director Matias Asorey (, 305-498-6122).
