May 13, 2013 – More than a dozen graduating members of the Kendall SC program have finalized their plans to play collegiate soccer next fall as the majority of the U18 players have firmed up their college commitments, with a handful of them still pending to finalize their plans. This year’s group includes commitments to several of the nation’s most prestigious universities, including two players who committed to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and others who will become part of the NCAA Division 1 soccer programs at Dartmouth College, Stony Brook University, Virginia Tech University and Florida Atlantic University. One of the club’s Juniors has already committed to play at Northwestern University when he graduates in 2014.

Kendall SC will field teams for the 2013 Super Y-league season in the U12 (00/01), U13 (99/00), U14 (98/99) and U15 (97/98) Boys age groups. The final tryout for the U14 age group has been changed to May 11 at 4:30 pm. Open tryouts for the other three age groups will be held on May 12 as previously indicated in Miller Pond Park (13350 SW 47 ST).

April 12, 2013 – Kendall SC’s 99 Pre-Academy team swept through the field in the Cup bracket of the South Florida Shootout Tournament to win the championship with an undefeated record. Meanwhile, the U10B White team fought its way to the Cup final, only to lose against Key Biscayne SC Blue in a hotly contested affair.

April 10, 2013 – The second time was the charm for Kendall SC’s U12B White in this year’s edition of the FYSA President’s Cup. After suffering heartbreak in last year’s U11 President’s Cup Final, the team came back determined to produce a different outcome under the direction of their new head coach, Robinson Martinez. The boys perseverance paid off as they held their two opponents scoreless en route to winning the President’s Cup title and claiming bragging rights as the best U12 team in Florida.

March 16, 2013 – The U.S. U17 Men’s National Team continued its preparation for the 2013 CONCACAF U17 Championship, which will take place April 6-19 in Panama City, Panama, playing a friendly match against Kendall SC’s U18 USSDA team at the IMG Academy complex in Bradenton. The hard fought affair ended in a 1-0 win for the National Team, but not before Kendall SC’s Santiago Camacho barely missed a chance at the equalizer with less than ten minutes to play.

March 12, 2013 – The matchups are set for the Region A Cup finals this Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17 and three Kendall SC teams will be taking the field to battle for the championship. The U12B White hope to repeat last year’s Div. 1 title run and reclaim a spot in the FYSA President’s Cup, while the U14B White, fresh off their SFUYSA Div. 2 Regular Season Championship, have an opportunity to claim the Region A Cup Div. 1 trophy. The U15B Blue were the last Kendall SC team to punch their ticket with a win last Saturday in the Div. 2 semifinal round.
