May 29, 2009 – Kendall SC’s U11G White and U16B Blue finished the 2008-2009 season in fine form, claiming championships at the 2009 Seminole Memorial Tournament. The U14G White also advanced undefeated in group play before bowing out in the semifinals.
In winning their first tournament of the season, the U11G White won all five of their matches in the Competitive Bracket, scoring 15 goals and
allowing only two. They swept through the first round with wins over Lady Knights Gold (2-1), FC America Kumba Red (3-1), FSA Krush Academy (4-0) and RSL Winchester 4-0 before squeezing out a 2-1 victory over FSA Krush Academy in the Finals rematch. In what will probably her last tournament with Kendall SC before her family moves to Georgia, Nicole Rafols lead all scorers with 6 goals. Nicole Corazon added three, Regan Durkin two, and Nathalie Solis, Morgan Lang, Halley Paterson, and Chelsea Schwartman added one apiece.
The U16B Blue had to overcome a 0-2 halftime deficit in the final to defeat Greater Osceola United 3-2 in the Premier Division. Kendall SC tied it in the final minutes of regulation and scored halfway through the second overtime to claim the championship. The U16 boys advanced out of the preliminary round with wins over Florida Soccer Alliance 92 Blues (1-0) and Greater Arlington (1-0), and a 0-0 tie against Creeks Clash. In the semifinal, they shut out Wellington Wave 2-0.

Meanwhile, the U14G White, who were playing in the Premier Bracket, pulled off three straight wins in the preliminary round before losing 0-2 to the eventual champions, Mako Sharks, in the semifinal round. In a strong defensive showing, Kendall SC posted three shutouts over FSA Lightning (1-0), Florida Rush Nike (1-0), and CFU Menace (2-0).
