U13B BLUE WIN CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP AT WESTON SOCCER CUP
U16B Blue Reach Premier Finals
February 27, 2009 – Kendall SC’s U13B Blue won the Classic 2 championship at the 2009 Weston Cup tournament, dominating the competition by scoring 25 goals in four games and not allowing any scores. The U16B Blue also made a solid run to the finals of the Premier group only to fall to Coral Springs Storm in the championship match.

The U13B Blue, whose roster is primarily made up of U12 players, has had a remarkable run this year and proved themselves against the older competition with wins against Plantation FC Predator (8-0), Wellington Wave Blue (6-0), Weston Wild Martinez (3-0), and Pinecrest Premier Panthers (8-0) in the Final.
The U16B Blue team was shooting for its second tournament title this season, but fell just a goal short. After posting consecutive victories in the preliminary around against Puerto Rico Soccer Elite (2-0), Doral Milan (3-0), and Naples Sharks (1-0), they lost the Final 1-2 to Coral Springs Storm.
Two other Kendall SC teams also participated in the tournament. The U10B White finished with two ties and one loss in the Classic 1 group while the U15B Blue finished with one tie and two losses in the Premier group.
