January 4, 2009 – Kendall SC’s U10B Blue started off the new year on a very positive note, reaching the Finals of the Copa Group in the 2009 Wellington Wave Soccer Shootout after going undefeated in the first round of play. The U10B Blue scored wins over Plantation FC Predator (3-2) and SAA- Real Madrid-Castilla (6-2) and tied Cooper City Cobras Red 2-2 in the preliminary round. Unfortunately, lady luck did not smile in the Finals rematch against Cooper City, which they lost 3-4 in an exciting penalty shootout. Congratulations to the boys on this accomplishment.
