Fundraising

Kendall SC encourages club members to take advantage of  the opportunities the club provides for them to raise funds to cover their membership fees, and tournament and travel costs. In adddition to the opportunities the club facilitates, members can also secure their team sponsorships through other third-parties not directly affiliated with the club. See the Team Sponsorships section for policies in that regards.

Individual Fundraising

Kendall SC members can undertake any of the following activities to raise funds towards their club and tournament participation expenses.

Club Raffles
Kendall SC will conduct at least one club raffle during the season year for which purposes the club will provide each member one booklet containing 10 (ten) raffle tickets for sale at $10 each. All of the proceeds of the first booklet of raffle tickets sold will directly benefit the member selling the tickets. After selling their first 10 tickets, members have the option of acquiring additional tickets to make more sales. Additional raffle sales proceeds will be split 80/20 between the member and the club, with the member receiving the higher percentage after making an initial $20 deposit to acquire each additional booklet of 10 tickets. With each additional ticket booklet sold the member can make up to $80 profit to apply to his o rher club and travel expenses. All raffle tickets, sold and unsold, must be turned in prior to the date announced at the time of booklet distribution in order for them to count in the drawing.

If the club conducts additional raffle drawings, members will be able to buy booklets of 10 raffle tickets for resale at $10 each raffle ticket.

Chocolates
Boxes of chocolate bars are available for purchase by club members to sell as a fundraising item. Boxes of XX chocolate bars cost xx and each individual bar can be sold at a suggested price of $1.

Refereeing
Club members who have a referee acreditation from the Florida Youth Soccer Association should contact Rebeca Rafols, our club referee assignor, to become a part of the club’s active referee pool. Referee compensation is $xx per game for center referees and $xx per game for line judges. If you are interested in obtaining your referee accreditation please contact Rebeca to find out when the next course will be conducted in our area.
 

Team Sponsorships
All Kendall SC teams are encouraged to raise funds for their particular team to cover the cost of travel, team parties, and whatever else their respective team may like to utilize the funds for in order to lower team expenses.
 
The club will retain 20% of the proceeds of any sponsorship check made out in the club’s name. The remaining 80% of the sponsorship amount will be deposited in the club account and credited towards the team account for future expenses. Checks to be issued by the club to pay for expenses should have proper receipt and documentation.
 
Kendall SC will require all team managers to submit a written request for all fundraising events on the club’s premises to the Vice President of Marketing and Fundraising. The fundraising committee will support/supervise any fundraising event on the club’s premises. All requests will be responded to within seven (7) business days.
 
The club is not liable for fundraising activities held outside of its premises (practice and playing fields and parks). Prior consent of the Vice President of Marketing and Fundraising is required if Kendall SC’s name is to be utilized on printed materials for fundraising purposes of any type. Any reproduction of the Kendall SC logo or design without express written consent from Kendall SC is prohibited.
