U15B BLUE ADVANCE TO PRESIDENT’S CUP
Three Other Teams Reach Region A Semifinals
March 19, 2008 – Kendall SC’s U15B Blue qualified for the FYSA President’s Cup by advancing to the Division 1 finals of the Region A Cup. Three other Kendall SC teams, U11B White, U11B Blue, and U12G White, advanced to the Region A semifinals in their respective groups.

| | The U15B Blue won their group in the first round of Region Cup posting wins against Mako Sharks (3-0) and Cutler Ridge 502 (3-1) and a 1-1 tie vs. CTC Bandits. In the final against Weston Fury Nike, they squandered a two-goal lead to lose 2-3 in overtime, but are looking forward to a rematch in President’s Cup, which will be held April 5 and 6 in Plantation.
The U11B White swept through the first round of Region A Cup play with wins over Wellington Wave White (7-4), Miramar Optimist (5-0) and Miami Lakes (3-0) before falling 1-4 in the Division 1 semifinals against rivals Pinecrest Premier.
The U11B Blue made it two U11 teams in the semifinals, also winning all their first round games in the Division 2 grouping. The boys scored victories against Plantation Eagles (6-3), Pinecrest Premier U10 (2-1) and Delray Beach (2-1). In the semifinal they dropped a tight game to Port St. Lucie 1-2.
For the U12G White it now marks two years in a row in which they reach the Region A Division 1 semifinals. This go-around they outscored opponents 13-4 in the first round with wins versus Jupiter Sting (5-2), Treasure Coast United (4-0), Mako Sharks (4-2), setting up the semifinal against Weston Fury Premier. Unfortunately the 2-0 result favored the opponents.
For their part the U12G Blue reached the quarterfinals in Division 2 after placing second in their group with a 3-0 win over Kendall Hammocks Lighting and 1-1 ties against Tropical Soccer and Cooper City Optimist. Their run ended in the quarterfinals with a 1-4 loss to West Pines Gold.
