TWO KENDALL SC PLAYERS INVITED TO NATIONAL TEAM ID CAMPS
Jasmine Paterson (U15G) and Daniel Gonzalez (U14B) to vie for a spot on national teams
July 28, 2007 - Jasmine Paterson, a member of Kendall SC's rising U15G White, and Daniel Gonzalez, a member of the rising U14B White, have been invited to the ODP National Identification Camp for 1993 girls and 1994 boys respectively. Two other 1994 boys, Alessandro Mion (U14B White) and Djaman Suarez (U13B Super Y-League) were also selected to the Region III ODP pool. Also participating in the Region III trials were Daniel Cortez (U14B White), Nahuel Medina (U14B White) and Kimani Cooke (U13B White).
Jasmine will attend in California from July 30 through August 5, while Daniel will travel to Massachusets for a shot at making the national team pools for their respective age groups. This regognition is a major accomplishment for both players, but especially for Jasmine, who is a true 94 player. This is the second time Jasmine has been recognized on a national level for ODP in the past year. She was one of only two Florida players, along with teammate Heather Williams, to be selected to the Super Y-League 1993 National Select Team in February.
