Although Kendall SC does not operate recreational soccer programs, the club maintains a close relationship with the recreational soccer programs of the AYSO 450 and West Kendall Optimist, which are run independently from Miller's Pond Park and McMillan Park, Miami-Dade County park facilities they share with Kendall SC. The recreational programs will continue to be an important feeder source of players for the competitive teams. Those players that show great aptitude for the game of soccer are given the opportunity to try out for the competitive teams.
On average the programs have more than 1,000 recreational players that participate every year - starting from 5 years old up to 16 years old, including boys and girls. We are making sure that those players in the recreational program start early on with all the proper instruction and basics required to become better players, always taking into account that the game has to be fun.
